Cobbitty Equine Farm is proud to congratulate Bettor’s Wish on being officially recognised as one of harness racing’s newest Living Horse Hall of Fame inductees, with the honour bestowed during the Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame celebrations in Goshen, New York, on Sunday evening.
The Living Horse Hall of Fame recognises Standardbreds whose achievements have left a lasting impact on the sport, and Bettor’s Wish now joins an elite group of champions celebrated for their outstanding racing careers.
A two-time Dan Patch Award winner and son of Hall of Famer Bettor’s Delight, Bettor’s Wish raced from 2018 through 2020, compiling an outstanding record of 24 wins from 44 starts while earning more than US$2.6 million. In 2019, he topped all Standardbreds by earnings after banking more than US$1.64 million in a remarkable season, cementing his place among the sport’s elite.
While his racing career earned him a place among the sport’s greats, Bettor’s Wish is now rapidly establishing himself as one of Australasia’s most exciting young stallions.
His first Australian crop has already produced outstanding performers, headed by Australian 2YO Filly of the Year Wishing Belle, and in 2025 he was crowned Australia’s Leading First-Crop Sire by Earnings – an outstanding achievement from a crop of just 28 Australian foals.
From champion racehorse to champion young sire, Bettor’s Wish continues to build a legacy that stretches well beyond the racetrack.
