Bettors Wish Progeny on Fire
Bettors Wish enjoyed a standout weekend with two of his daughters producing exceptional results.
At Wagga, Eye Wish announced herself with a brilliant debut, storming to victory by 13 metres in 1:53.3. Congratulations to breeder Jackie Gibson at Success Stud and all connections involved in this exciting filly.
Meanwhile at Gloucester Park, Wishing Belle proved herself one of the most exciting 2YO fillies in the country, capturing the Group One $215,000 Allwood Stud Farm 2YO Westbred Fillies Classic Final. Racing without cover for the entire journey, she showed toughness and class to post her eighth win from just nine starts and her first Group One title. Congratulations to Four Diamonds Pacing, Success Stud, Alex Smith, Russell Woods and KTC Bloodstock.
Cobbitty Equine Farm NSW Breeders Challenge Blue Finals
Cobbitty Equine Farm was proud to sponsor the NSW Breeders Challenge Blue Finals (Group 2) at Menangle on Saturday night.
The 2YO Fillies Final, run in a sizzling 1:51.8, and excitingly resulted in a Cobbitty Equine Farm sired trifecta:

- Wheres My Reason – by For A Reason (Second)
- Applauding – by Bling It On (Third)

Perfect Sting Strikes in New Jersey
In the United States, Perfect Sting progeny swept both $150,000 divisions of the 2YO New Jersey Classic Finals.
- Bookie J took out the Colts & Geldings Final in 1:51.1 with a sharp 26.3 final quarter.
- Perfect Thought claimed the Fillies Final in 1:51.1, finishing powerfully in 26.2.
These results have propelled Perfect Sting up the 2YO sires table and confirmed his growing reputation as one of the most exciting young stallions in North America.
Huntsville Doubles Up in New York
At Batavia Downs, Huntsville reinforced his status as a sire of champions, producing two winners on one of the state’s biggest nights – the $300,000 New York Sire Stakes Finals.
- Fragment captured the 2YO Colts & Geldings Final.
- The Last Martini took out the 3YO Fillies Final.
Huntsville’s consistency and class continue to shine through his progeny, building on an already impressive record.
