It has been an incredible return to the sales ring for Huntsville thus far. Last Sunday at the APG Ipswich Yearling Sale, Huntsville claimed the prestigious title of the highest-priced yearling sold. This Sunday at the APG Sydney Yearling Sale, Huntsville achieved the same feat, with the gavel falling at an impressive $140,000.
Lot 228, a Huntsville colt from Group One winner, Miss Halfpenny, was the weekends sales topper. This exceptional colt was also awarded Best Presented Colt of the Sale. Bred and prepared by Celestial Standardbreds, Phil, and Denise Thurston, a huge congratulations to you all and your team.
First season sire King Of Swing also received outstanding support in this weekends sale. His two top lots, a colt and a filly, both fetched $50,000. Lot 246, a colt by King Of Swing out of Rise To The Top, was bred and prepared by Ray and Anne Grubb. While Lot 208, a filly by King Of Swing out of For All We Know, was bred and prepared by Phil and Denise Thurston.
McWicked also received tremendous support, with his top lot selling for $47,000. This remarkable colt, Lot 259, was the last lot of the day, sired by McWicked out of Lettucesomewhere.
