HUNTSVILLE USA has added another significant milestone to his growing list of achievements, recording his 100th individual Australian winner at Newcastle yesterday.
The milestone was achieved courtesy of Kojax, who broke through for his maiden victory in the 2YO Maiden Pace, becoming Huntsville’s 100th individual Australian winner.
The victory carried added significance, with Kojax also becoming Huntsville’s 13th individual 2YO winner of the season, further strengthening the stallion’s position as Australia’s Leading 2YO Sire.
While reaching 100 individual winners is an outstanding achievement in itself, what makes the milestone particularly remarkable is the speed at which it has been achieved.
Huntsville has now produced 100 individual Australian winners from just two racing crops, with his second crop currently competing as 2YOs this season.
The son of Somebeachsomewhere has quickly established himself as one of the most exciting young stallions in harness racing, with his progeny consistently competing at the highest level in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres.
To date, Huntsville’s Australian progeny have accumulated more than $6.48 million in earnings, averaging $54,032 per starter, highlighting the commercial appeal and racetrack success of the stallion.
The achievement is a testament to the confidence shown in Huntsville by breeders throughout Australia and New Zealand, as well as the ongoing support of owners, trainers and drivers who continue to campaign his progeny with great success.
With 100 individual winners now on the board and a highly talented crop of juveniles continuing to emerge, the future remains exceptionally bright for Huntsville in the Southern Hemisphere.
