Cannibal is heading down under to stand this upcoming 2024 breeding season here with us at Cobbitty Equine Farm.

A product of Diamond Creek, Cannibal is a impressive son of Sweet Lou and out of the A Rocknroll Dance mare, No More Losses, the golden cross that he shares with fellow superstar, Confederate (1:46.1, $2,077,554). His deep maternal bloodline is anchored by the Hall of Fame broodmares, Arterra and Delinquent Account.

As a two-year-old, Cannibal finished on the board in five of his eight starts which included multiple wins in the Kentucky Sire Stakes Commonwealth Series. He returned as a three-year-old in full form, his most notable wins being the Adios Pace Final at The Meadows, and divisions of both the Bluegrass and the Tattersalls Pace at The Red Mile. Cannibal also won legs of the Kentucky Sire Stakes, his Meadowlands Pace elimination, and his Little Brown Jug elimination; the latter proving his ability on a half mile track. And most recently, Cannibal finished third at Hoosier Park in the Breeders Crown Final, bringing his career earnings to over $700,000.

Cannibal retired at the conclusion of the 2023 season, securing fifteen victories out of twenty-seven lifetime starts and seven placings. Ranking fourth among all male three-year-old pacers for U.S. earnings and abest win time of 1:48.1 which put him tied for fourth among the sophomore boys for the 2023 season.

“Cannibal impresses with his great gait, wonderful disposition, conformation, and consistent performance – making him the epitome of an +A  racehorse,” said trainer Nancy Takter.

Cannibal has been massively supported in the Northern Hemisphere, boasting a full and closed book for his inaugural season at Stud.
