October is officially Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and here at Cobbitty Equine Farm want to do our part to spread awareness! From October 1st until October 31st, we are going to #turnupthepink you will see our team stepping up the pink in support of those affected by breast cancer. Our team will be promoting Breast Cancer Awareness in any way they can. While this is aimed at raising awareness around Breast Cancer and doing what we can to support those affected, it’s also about creating the conversation and encouraging those around us to get regular checks.

NSW Breeders Challenge ramping up!
We have seen many of our Stallions progeny take out some of the Breeders Challenge heats throughout NSW during the month. With it all ramping up with Semis and Finals to be run this October, we will be following along and cheering on our Stallions progeny.

Another Group Victory for Madrid.
Madrid, the daughter of Bling It On took out the Group 3 Feature APG Gold Sovereign 3YO Fillies Final at Club Menangle. It was the 10th win out of 16 starts for Madrid and taking her earnings over $220,000.

The Amber Hare is loving the Perth Air!!
Since arriving in WA back in June, the four-year-old daughter of For A Reason has been out of the money once!The Amber Hare has had 11 starts for trainer/driver Jocelyn Young for 7 wins and 3 seconds.Her latest victory was last night at Gloucester Park taking out the $20,000 Fillies and Mare Race, doing it tough 3 wide to the chair beating the favourite right on the line. The daughter of For A Reason has been a model of consistency in WA winning at tracks such as Bunbury, Gloucester Park, Narrogin and Pinjarra.
