        Overview

        Dancin Lou, is the fastest performing and the richest colt sired by Sweet Lou. The multiple stakes-winning millionaire represents generations of speed and toughness. His sire, Sweet Lou is consistently near the top of the sires lists at all ages in both the Northern and Southern Hemisphere.  

        Out of a sensational maternal family, Dancin Lou is also the ¾ brother to the champion pacer Dancin Yankee 1.47.2 and over $2 million in prizemoney. His Dam Dancewiththebest is the producer of a $2 Million dollar earner, a $1 Million dollar earner, a $200,000 earner and three over $100,000 earners.  

        Race timed in 1:50.2 at age two. At three, Dancin Lou won the $779,221 Breeders Crown (elimination and final) displaying tremendous determination to track down and nail Bettors Wish right at the finish line to win the $786,000 (CAD) Breeders Crown 3-Year-Old Colts Final at Woodbine Mohawk Park with an overall time of 1:50.2 and a last couple of quarters of 25.4 and 26.2 on a very wet track.

         Also at 3, he took out the $270,000 Tattersalls Pace. At 4 in 2020, he took his fastest lifetime mark of 1:47.4 winning the $391,300 William Haughton Memorial and finished second in the $540,000 Canadian Pacing Derby.

        Dancin Lou has outstanding pedigree makes him the perfect outcross for almost every broodmare in Australia and New Zealand. His sire Sweet Lou is doing an exceptional job in Australia and New Zealand with most of the leading broodmare lines. 

         

        Bettors Delight has shown to been exceptional cross with Sweet Lou. Sweet Lou’s half-brother Bettor Sweet was a world champion at 2 by Bettor’s Delight. Sweet Lou has also left, many exciting young horses in both hemispheres out of Bettor’s Delight mares.   

         

        Artsplace line mares should also be considered. The exciting Spirit of St Louis is out of an Art Major mare proving the cross to be very successful.  

         

        Direct Scooter line has crossed well with Sweet Lou, mares by Mach Three, Christian Cullen, Courage Under Fire as well as Somebeachsomewhere will match well.
