Spirit Of St Louis stamped himself as the horse of the summer, Louis completed the hat-trick of the big Victorian Country Cup wins in consecutive weeks winning the Bendigo Cup (G2), Shepparton Cup (G2) and Ballarat Cup (G1). Louis absolutely thrived this summer and we look for to the future with the exciting pacer.
King Of Swing was crowned the 2021 Australian Pacing Gold Grand Circuit champion for the second year in a row. Eleven wins, two of those wins being Group Ones – The Miracle Mile which he went back to back after taking victory last year and the Schweppes Sprint. Another 5 Group features to add to the list as well and $871,870 in earnings for the season.
With the return of the mini trots at Club Menangle for the year, our daughter Madi made her mini trots driving debut. With both our girls Lily and Madi driving in the minis, we look forward to many years of fun and sibling rivalry between them.
We are beginning to see lots of For A Reason and Bling It On 2YO progeny at the trials this month. Which is exciting to
see some new talent but also their now 3YO’s hitting their straps and getting some new winners on the board as well.
