Earlier in the season, School Captain announced himself as a horse of exceptional talent when he captured the Group 2 Alabar Vicbred Platinum Home Grown Classic Final in just his second lifetime start, showcasing the precocity and natural ability that would become his trademark.

A winner of five races from just nine starts, including four consecutive victories, School Captain earned $196,152 and recorded a 1:52.5 mile rate before his racing career was unfortunately cut short.
